Case Study: Bruce’s Golf Rewards

Company and Objective:

Affiliated golf courses including Ajax’s Lakeridge Links, and Bowmanville’s Stonehenge Golf Club wanted to put together a rewards program that would allow golfers to receive free golf via a magnetic swipe card that could be used at different golf courses. Moving forward, an online presence would be needed with a membership login that would connect golfers around the province to a powerful back end database. The database had to be accessed easily at Point of purchase systems across 7 golf courses. The program would be named Bruce’s Golf Rewards in memory of long time golf course owner and operator Bruce Summers.

Solution:

Emagine was brought in to setup Bruce’s Golf Rewards customer loyalty program. Emagine setup The POP terminals and developed a back end database that could be easily accessed across the region. Golfers are now able to swipe a magnetic card at the 7 golf courses and receive points to use towards green fees. The website boasts tours of all seven golf courses,and has a members login where people can access their account and check the point balance and recent transactions made. Similarly,A mobile website was setup with a simple, fast point balance login. The entire program runs smoothly across all courses and has growing popularity through Durham Region.

Outcome:

  • An upscale easy to use website was designed
